Anecdotes
Randolph Stroschein (Email to Nauticapedia 23/10/2025) states that "Island Time started life as the Rosy-B. She was a 1977 37’ boat built by Palmer for Bill and Rosemary Harrison from Burns Lake BC. We purchased her in 1992 in Prince Rupert. She had just been through an extensive refit. She was brought down the coast to Canoe Cove Marine for some additional work and “personalization” (including renaming her to Island Time) before coming across to Pt Roberts Marina as her home berth. We lived in Tsawwassen at the time so it was very convenient. She was only there for 6 months before moving to the Vancouver Rowing Club where she lived for 10 years. In 2002 we took her to Spruce Harbour Marina in False Creek where she served as our home until her sale in 2016 to Andrew Godfrey. As far as I know, he is her current owner and LKA is Gabriola Island."
