| Barry Clark states "It was purchased about 1951–1952. It was not new and was basically a 22’ runabout with an open stern area and a covered helm area. I vaguely remember that there was a bed area in the bow but no head or cooking facilities. Dad (Ken Clark) had acquired land at the head of Long Bay on Gambier Island and was renovating a cottage on the site. The boat was primarily used to transport us from Fisherman’s Cove (West Vancouver Yacht club) to the cabin site. It may have originated as a watertaxi." |
