Named Features
Significance of Name Originally named "Siwash". The RCAF changed the name when it found out that “Siwash” was not a tribal name but rather a repugnant appellation applied to West Coast First Nations.

This vessel was based at Western Air Command, Vancouver, British Columbia and this vessel carried the tender M-383.
