| In 1941 this vessel was seized by the Custodian of Enemy Property (Frank Shears), Ottawa ON Canada. In 1942 her ownership was transferred to His Majesty the King (Japanese Fishboat Disposal Committee). Karen Tourangeau (Email to Nauticapedia 22/04/2026) noted "We know that Tomio Baba, Shimpei Baba and Noboru Baba would build a new boat during the winter and usually would sell the older boat and use the new boat for the fishing season." |
