Mike Rydqvist McCammon (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 12/08/2018) states that "this vessel was operated as a research vessel by Ocean Ecology (Dr. Barb Faggetter) in 2006-2016. Captained by Kennard Hall, whose family lived for 9 years on Ivory Island Lighthouse, and later moved to Drainey Inlet (off of Rivers Inlet)."
