| This vessel was a small UK-registered yacht (a retired RNLI Lifeboat). In 1956 was stationed at Dungeness until 1979 and as a relief boat at Aldeburgh. In 1986-1989 this vessel made the first solo transit of the Northwest Passage and the first British Transit - East to West Transit of the Northwest Passage. This vessel was afloat in 2004. David Cowper was awarded the highly prestigious Blue Water Medal by the Cruising Club of America. |
