Anecdotes
On November 4, 1911 this vessel foundered near Entrance Island BC in transit from Gabriola to Nanaimo while towing a scow of gravel. The scow sprang a leak and while sinking damaged the schooner which filled with water and sank pulling down the scow. Captain Alf Bradford, the master, and his crew of three escaped in the ship's boat. On September 26, 1952 this vessel was destroyed by fire and sank at McLean's Point, Clayoquot Sound
