| On November 2, 1950 this vessel was stranded three miles south of Carmanah Point BC in Juan de Fuca Strait. The vessel developed a leak, hatches had been opened to dump the catch when the vessel was swamped by a huge swell. The vessel sank killing Captain Henry Martinick, North Burnaby BC and John Canick, the Cook. The rest of the crew were saved. |
