Anecdotes
On December 22, 1951 this vessel foundered 3/4 of a mile southwest of Popham Island and sank in Howe Sound BC within five minutes after a hatch cover was torn off by waves during a storm. The crew of four escaped in a small boat and were rescued by the tug Magellan Straits.
