Anecdotes
In 1942 this vessel escorted four American troop transports carrying 5,000 Canadian troops from Esquimalt for the invasion of Kiska. At the end of the Second World War this vessel was laid up in the shp boneyard at Bedwell Bay in Indian Arm BC Canada. In 1951 this vessel was broken up at Hong Kong.
