| On March 28, 1928 this vessel exploded and burned 15 miles west of Race Rocks in Juan de Fuca Strait BC Canada. Her two crew members who were drifting for three hours in Juan de Fuca Strait were rescued 15 miles west of Race Rocks by the steamer Admiral Farragut. The fishermen: Harold Neave (Kyuquot) and David Clay (Vancouver) were travelling from Vancouver to Barkley Sound at the time of the incident. During the night they were having engine problems when an explosion occurred. The vessel was considered a total loss. |
