On December 15, 1973 this vessel capsized and sank in a 60 mph gale in Catala Channel, 30 miles northwest of Bella Bella BC Canada. Five lives were lost. On August 31, 1978 this vessel sank in Seymour Narrows BC Canada after taking on water under the waterline..
