| This vessel has been reported by some sources to have served with the Royal Canadian Navy, but Bryon Taylor (26/11/2017) reports that reference RG24 Volume 5824 File 8000/7 General Information - HMCS Bligh Island - this vessel was requisitioned but not taken up by the Naval Service." Marine News says "Sank on 13/07/2021 while under tow of tug WEST POINT in the Straits of Georgia off Cherry Point WA USA in position 48.51.41 N 122.48.29W. The three crew were rescued by U. S. Coast Guard. The vessel was under tow to Bellingham W for recycling at the time. " |
