Neil Gower (Email to Nauticapedia 06/07/2024) stated "Built by in sections by Vito Shipbuilding of Vancouver BC and assembled in Hay River by the same company." Another (unknown) source stated "This vessel was re-assembled in 1972 at Hay River NWT by the Alberta Equipment Co. Builder was actually Vito but I think he set up a numbered company in Alberta to save some tax!"
