|---|
| Baird Tewksbury (Email to Nauticapedia 19/10/2025) stated "Built in Vancouver BC for Wm Boeing in Boeing Vancouver shipyard sat for years (‘60’s-‘70’s) at RVYC Coal Harbor with original Captain...restored to highest standards by Gordon Leavett...photo Jervis Inlet, British Columbia 1980's...I arranged a charter for some high rollers from Bay St one summer…while they ventured north, I was on my own boat at Princess Louisa Inlet…without notice, Taconite appeared after dropping off charterers…she still had charter crew (including cook) on board so Gord invited my crew for dinner…six course meal featuring a Turkey brought to table in classic wheeled giant silver salvor a la Simpson’s in the Strand". |
