In 1941 she was owned by Sadakichi Yamanaka, Vancouver, BC Canada. In 1941 this vessel was seized by the Custodian of Enemy Property (Frank Shears), Ottawa ON Canada. In 1942 her ownership transferred to His Majesty the King (Japanese Fishing Vessel Disposal Committee). In 1942 her appraised value was $7,500. In 1942 she served with the Royal Canadian Air Force. In 1961-1969 she was owned by Frode Friis, Vancouver, BC Canada. In 1969-1971 she was owned by Alfred Styan, Bamfield, BC Canada.

Anecdotes
In 1942 this vessel was seized from her Japanese owners for service with the Royal Canadian Air Force. At the time her appraised value was $7,500. On November 16. 1971 this vessel sank southwest of Nootka Light and was a total loss.
