In 1943 she was owned by the Royal Canadian Navy in service as a Fairmile sub-chaser. In 1954 she was converted by Captain Fred Lewis (a millionaire California sportsman who holidayed on Coal Island). In 1947-1963 she was owned by Coal Island Ltd., Sidney BC Canada. In 1963-1966 she was owned by Marlineer Marine Inc., Pomona CA USA.

Anecdotes
On September 26, 1966 this power cruiser (a converted Fairmile owned by Marlineer Marine Inc., Pomona CA USA) burned and sank in the Strait of Juan de Fuca five miles of Port Angeles WA USA. The two men on board, Ted Tate (Pomona CA) and Lee Washburn (Long Beach CA) were rescued by the British freighter Tetela.
