Anecdotes
Kerry Dunn (Email to Nauticapedia 03/06/2023) states "The vessel sank in Shuswap Lake in January 2022 and was raised in June 2022, but sank again in October 2022. In June 2023, various government organisations raised the vessel and disposed of it for being a safety and environmental hazard." Lisa O’Donnell (Email to Nauticapedia 12/05/2024) stated "My father was Hugh S. Miller who owned the Mandalay B (or Mandal Baby as we called her!) in the 1970s. We were told that she’d been cut in half in her lifetime and 10 feet added midship which made her long for her width. She rolled a lot in the ocean, and was dreadful in a following sea! Many happy memories of month long expeditions up the Coast in her. "
