Anecdotes
In 1941, at the outbreak of war between Germany and the U.S.S.R. the vessel was still in København, but by the prize court declared her not a prize due to the Danish neutrality. In 1942 by the Reichskommissar for the prize office in Berlin, Germany protected against prize taking, and the owner free use of the vessel to trade under Estonian flag. In 1943 this vessel was seized by KMD in København, to be taken to the German navy’s yard in Trondheim as a storage vessel. The company was allowed to keep tackling, rigging and sails. The Master and one motorman had to stay onboard. This vessel was sold to the German Navy. In 1944 this vessel was in Hamburg, Germany with a transport crew onboard for moving her to Norway. This vessel was now called a coal hulk. (No more trace after this time.)
