As a tug operating barges on the Mackenzie River this vessel was renamed as Horn River. In August 1956 this vessel sank in Lake Athabasca. this vessel was salvaged and put back into service. The crew of eight were lost in the incident. The lost crew members: were the master, Ken (Tiny) Holden 32, Vancouver. The Mate - Ruben Marsh, 52, Selkirk, Manitoba. The Chief Engineer - H.
