In 1942 she was managed by McLean Kennedy Ltd, Montreal QC. In 1946 she was transferrred to Ministry of Wartime Shipping, managed by Aviation & Shipping Co. Ltd., London UK. In 1950 she was owned by Fairview Overseas Freightes Ltd., Halifax NS, managed by C.M. Lemos & Co. Ltd. In 1957-62 she was owned by Record Shipping Co. S.A., Panama. Greek-flagged under the command of Captain Fatios Petratus.

Significance of Name An Ontario Provincial Park near Dorset ON.
In 1950 she was renamed as the Johnstar. In 1957 she was renamed as the Santhy. On 02/01/1962, while sailing from Japan to Vancouver in ballast, she went aground on a small island two miles east of Amphitrite Point BC. She was pulled free by the tugs Sudbury I and the Island Challenger on 03/01/1962. She was towed to Esquimalt BC. She was declared a constructive total loss and was sold to Capital Iron & Metals, Victoria BC where she was stripped. Her hull was towed to Seattle WA USA for breaking up.
