Anecdotes
As an auxiliary vessel this vessel was used for whaling in 1950 for towing whale carcasses into the whaling station at Coal Harbour on the west coast of Vancouver Island. In 1961 this vessel was broken up by Capital Iron & Metals Ltd., Victoria BC and the hull was towed to the Royston BC breakwater.
