In 1923 this vessel was launched by Mrs. Troop. This vessel had a 40 car 250 passenger capacity. In 1923 this vessel was the first purpose-built diesel-powered auto ferry, approximate cost $.24 million. In 1923 this vessel was on Bellingham to Sidney service. In 1925 this vessel was transferred to Vancouver to Nanaimo run. In transferred to Sidney to Steveston service.
