Anecdotes
In 1979 her Master, Captain G. Burdock, made an East to West Transit of the Northwest Passage assisting CCGS Franklin. This vessel went on to circumnavigate North America. this vessel was modernized 1988 - 1993 - Halifax Shipyard & 2000 new props. On 22 August 1994 this vesselreached the North Pole.
