She was ordered as a steel USN ATR Rescue tug (subsequently designated as ATA auxiliary tugs) but delivered as an US Army LT deign 377-A tug. In 1944 she was involved in the invasion of Normandy. She arrived Liverpool on June 2, 1944 in convoy HX-292 (departed New York on May 19, 1944). In 1946 she was owned by Foundation Maritime, Halifax NS. In 1953 she was owned by Bulk Carriers Ltd., New Jersey USA. In 1953-1978 she was owned by Kingcome Navigation Co., Vancouver BC. In 1979-2001 she was owned by Egmont Towing & Sorting Ltd., Vancouver BC. In 2004 she was owned by Summer Holdings Ltd., Vancouver BC.
