Anecdotes
In January 05, 1955 this tug, owned by Island Tug & Barge Ltd., Victoria BC, struck a rock in Kyuquot Sound and began to sink. Captain George Dance beached her at the Chamiss River flats before this vesselwent down in deep water. This vessel came to rest on a ledge, her bow barely showing above the water and her stern in 16 fathoms. The crew of six were all safe. In January 1968 this vessel was in collision with the Washington State Ferry Hyak in Seattle Harbour.
