Anecdotes
Mark Simpson (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 21/10/2017) reports that "This vessel was grounded (and abandoned in 1998) on the foreshore in Patricia Bay on the Institute of Ocean Sciences lands. This vessel sat there for many years until on 26/07/2004 this vesselcaught fire (some say it was arson). While on fire this vessel was dragged off the beach and sank in shallow water. All this while the owner was away in jail in the United States. Gordon Cawley (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 21/10/2017) reports that "the Circle F on the funnel stood for Fraser Mills. Owned by Canadian Tug, owned by Crown Zellerback.
