In 1925 she was owned by the Dominion Atlantic Railway Co. Ltd., Montreal QC (registered at Parrsboro NS). In 1941 she was purchased by the Royal Canadian Navy as a Canadian Naval Tender to Avalon. In 1946-1951 she was owned by Crosbie & Co. Ltd., St. John's Newfoundland. In 1952-1974 she was owned by Terra Nova Transportation Ltd., St. John's NL. In 1974 she was owned by Fogo Transport Ltd., Fogo NL.In 1975-1982 she was owned by Bonavista Boat Tours Ltd., Shoal Harbour (Trinity Bay) NL. In 1985 she was owned by the Kipawa Heritage Society, Wolfville NS.

Anecdotes
This vessel was a Nova Scotia passenger and car ferry. this vessel was used at Bell Island as a boom maintenance vessel to build the anti-submarine boom. After the war this vessel was purchased by Chesley Crosbie for the Bell Island Newfoundland to Portugal Cove ferry run. In 1982 this vessel was purchased by the Kipawo Heritage society of Wolfville. this vessel was soon after purchased by the town of Parrsboro for a museum and deliberately beached at Parrsboro. By 1986 the museum concept was shelved in favour of a theartre. Her enclosed hull serves as a theatre stage run by Ships Company Theatre.
