In 1944-1975 she was built for the Royal Canadian Navy. In 1976 she was owned by the Minister of Public Works, Ottawa ON. In 1997-2001 she was owned by Trois-Rivieres Remorquesers Ltee., Trois Rivieres QC. In 2001 she was sold to owners in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

Anecdotes
The RCN employed her as a general duty tug at Sydney June 9, 1944 and a s a general duty tug at Esquimalt December 01, 1944. In 1946-1970 this vesselserved as a CNAV/CFAV. Sailed from Halifax and arrived in Esquimalt in December 1944. Removed from service in 1970. this vessel was commissioned in 1973 for summer Canadian Naval Reserve training. Recommissioned in 1973 for Naval reservist training until paid off in 1975.
