In 1928-1932 she served with the Customs Protective Service. In 1932 she was transferred to the RCMP. In 1942 she was loaned to the Royal Canadian Navy. At the end of the War she was turned over to the Crown Assets and Disposal Corporation. In 1946 she was sold out to Wentworth Macdonald, Sydney, NS.

Anecdotes
This vessel carried a Warrant to wear the Blue Ensign: 026. In 1932 this vessel was attached to “H” Division of the R.C.M.P. in Halifax and patrolled out of Barrington Passage NS. In 1939, as an R.C.N. vessel this vessel was employed doing general harbour duties at Halifax NS. On January 12, 1960 this vessel sank in Sydney Harbour NS.
