In 1942 she was purchased by the Royal Canadian Navy. In 1949 she was owned by Max Marx, Vancouver BC. In 1955-1960 she was owned by Glen I. Gadsden, Ocean Falls BC. In 1960-1970 she was owned by British Columbia Packers Ltd., Vancouver BC. In 1970-1982 she was owned by Peter Frandsen, Ocean Falls BC.

Anecdotes
The RCN employed her as a harbour craft at Esquimalt BC. She was laid up at Bedwell Bay in Indian Arm BC after the Second World War. Robert Critchley (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group 13/11/2017) reports that "In April 1941 she chartered to Good Hope Cannery for the sockeye , then going to Goose Bay cannery for the fall time." On 1982-09-14 she sank and was declared at total loss.
