In 1972-1976 she was owned by Hans Werner, New Westminster BC. In 1977-1980 she was owned by Robert Allen, Seattle WA USA. In 1980-1989 she was owned by John W. de Boeck, Nanaimo BC. Anecdotes
On August 18, 1979 this vessel sank in Tekerne Arm (Redonda Island BC) and was refloated September 15, 1979 by Julian Matson (Argonaut II) and John Naylor (Tree Isle). The hull was repaired and refloated October 10. 1980. John de Boeck (British Columbia Nautical isitory Facebook Group 18/06/2018) staes that "Clavella was a beautiful, strong and sleek vessel. From 1980 to 2002, we logged over 43,000 hours from Georgia Strait to Cape Scott and Central Coast to Langara Island, and everywhere between. And yes, this vessel sank in winter 2003 in 90+ knot winds, at a dock near Port Hardy, Refloated and taken to Campbell River, this vessel was to have been repaired on insurance, until the insurance company screwed us. this vessel was there 6 years before being holed by a broken-free aluminum herring skiff in a gale. The skiff jammed between her and the dock, tearing through four planks that ran below the water line. Next time this vesselcame up, it was off to the wreckers. Saddest day of my boating life." In 2019 her Canada Register was still open.
