In 1926 she was owned by Annie Forward, Halifax, NS In 1929 she was sold to James Kavanagh, New Waterford, NS. In 1933 she was seized by the RCMP Marine Section. In 1939 she was sold to Roy Slater, North Sydney, NS. In 1941 she was sold to the Royal Canadian Navy. In 1946 she was sold.

Anecdotes
Louisburg was the seized vessel W.A.F. taken over by the RCMP Marine Section in 1935. this vessel was sold commercial 28 July 1939 and on 05 August 1941 was purchased by the RCN. this vessel was a Canadian Naval Harbour Service Auxiliary in service as Sydney River 1941-1946. Her name was changed to Sydney River to avoid confusion with HMCS Louisburg.
