Anecdotes
In 1901 this vessel was built for log towing for the Fraser Mills. On November 25, 1903 this tug ran on the rocks in Euclatah Rapids. this vessel was salvaged by the Maude with a diver using jacks to raise her. A temporary ways was built under her and this vessel was pulled off into deeper water. On June 19, 1908 while towing logs bound for Anacortes while under command of Captain George Marchant this vesselgrounded on Ballingall Rock after hitting the reef below Walker Light on Trincomalee Channel. Fortunately the current carried the boom around the vessel and they did not collide. this vessel failed to float off the rock on the high tide. The B.C. Salvage Co. tug Salvor was engaged to salvage the tug. A diver was sent down to patch up any openings and powerful pumps de-watered her. The Salvor was then able to pull her off. The engines had become inoperable so this vessel was towed back to port by the tug Fearless. In 1947 this vessel was broken up.
