Anecdotes
In 1949 this vessel was in service as a breakwater at Powell River BC. In 1961 this vessel was towed back to Victoria BC for scrapping by Morris L. Greene. During the tow this vessel was damaged and started takingwater. Greene convinced the underwriters to let him sink the vessel. He put four cases of Forcite into the vessel off of Race Rocks and this vesselexploded, sinking her.
