Anecdotes
12 knots while cruising. Variable pitch propellers, nozzles, a bow thruster and four rudders produced a high degree of manoeuverability. The double drum winch on the deck gave her the capability for heavy load towing. Lloyd's Ice Class 1 standard. this vessel was a modified version of the Arctic Taglu and Arctic Hooper but with about 50% more horsepower. The crew of eleven enjoyed high quality accomodation with space for 7 more passengers. In 1991 this vesselmade a west to east transit of the Northwest Passge under Captain L. Lorengreek. In 2011 this vessel was classified as Lloyds +100A1 Tug Ice Class I
