Anecdotes
Simon Bancroft (British Columbia Nautical History Facebook Group (21/02/2022) stated "BCM No 9 on the beach behind the pub at Port Browning, 1980. this was a hard hat diver support barge, 26 feet long. There were at least three similar survivors from that era kicking around Vancouver harbour in 1970. I bought it from the Henshaws who owned the pub. They'd been using it for little jobs around Pender Island. I used it until 2007 and took it to Shelter Island and chainsawed it into a couple of dumpsters. It had developed dry rot and was used up."
