Anecdotes
This vessel carried 230 tons of fuel and could reach 16 knots. Her endurance was 3450 nm at 12 knots. this vessel was armed with one 4” BL Mk.IX, two twin .5” machine guns and two twin .303” machine guns, two (later four) depth charge throwers and two rails (later four) carrying 40 depth charges (later 70). This vessel carried a complement of 7 officers and 85-90 other ranks. this vessel was launched on 15/08/1940. this vessel was modernized and the forecastle was extended at New York 1943-44. this vessel was broken up at Moncton NB in 1946.
