Military Service

He was appointed as a Part-Time Chaplain (RC) RCN (With seniority dated 28/06/1943). He served in HMCS Captor. He was appointed as a Chaplain (Class III) (RC) (Temp.) RCN (With seniority dated 16/11/1945). He served in HMCS Brunswicker. He served in HMCS Captor. He served in HMCS Avalon. He served in HMCS Cornwallis. He was appointed as a Chaplain (Class II) (RC) RCN (With seniority dated 15/07/1946) and to Acting-Chaplain (Class I) RCN. He was appointed as a Chaplain (Class IV) (RC) RCN (With seniority dated 01/01/1949). He was appointed as a Chaplain (Class V) RCN (With seniority dated 16/10/1958). He was appointed as a Chaplain of the Fleet (RC) RCN 1952. He served in CFHQ as Deputy Chaplain General (RC) of the Armed Forces 1958. (He was retired on 11/11/1965.)
