Biography
(He was qualified as a Master Mariner.) In 1988 he was the Master of the CCGS Henry A. Larsen, a Medium Canadian icebreaker, in an east to west transit of the North West Passage on her maiden voyage. In 1990 he made a partial transit of the Northwest Passage, in the CCGS Henry Larsen, westward through Lancaster Sound, Victoria Strait to Demarcation Point and return. In 1991 he commanded the CCGS Henry Larsen on a partial transit of the Northwest Passage westward through Peel Sound, Victoria Strait to the Beaufort Sea.
