He was qualified as a Master Mariner (Foreign Going) #35895. In 1919 he was elected as President of the Canadian Merchant Service Guild. He was the Master of the GTP steamship Prince Albert. He was appointed as a British Columbia Marine Pilot. He was Chairman of the Board for British Columbia Coast Pilots in 1932. |
