| joined the Naval Reserve in 1977 at HMCS Brunswicker in Saint John, NB through the Naval Reserve Summer Student Program. He trained as a Naval Signalman and attained the rank of Leading Seaman. (CFR). In 1978 he was appointed as an Officer Cadet (NR). In 1978-1979 he served in HMCS Discovery for ROUTP. In 1979 he served in the ROUTP for NROC (Esquimalt) for Training. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (NR). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (NR) 1980. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (N) (NR). He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (NR). He was appointed as a Commander (NR) c1999. He served as the Executive Officer of HMCS Scotian in 1999. In 2002 he served in HMCS Scotian as Commanding Officer. He was appointed as a Captain (N) (NR) (With seniority dated 03/11/2003). In 2005 he was subsequently appointed as a Liaison Officer with the Canadian Forces Liaison Council. (He was released.) |
