Military Service
He was appointed as a Probationary Flight Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.), RNAS (With seniority dated 19 April 1917) in Ottawa ON. He served in RNAS Manstone Flying School, 21/05/1917. He served in RNAS Cranwell 11/08/1917. He served in Freiston 19/09/1917. He served in RNAS Manstone (War Flight) 06/10/1917. He served in the Handley-Page Squadron 21/10/1917 -14/01/1918. He served in #14 (N) Squadron, Dunkirk, 16/01/1918. He was missing (interned in Holland), 30/06/1918. He was repatriated, 15/11/1918. He served in Paris (on special duty), 14 March and 30 May 1919. (He was demobilized.)
