Biography
After his naval service he was an Insurance Agent. In 1951-52 he was the Director of the UBC Alumni Association.

 

Military Service

He joined the navy in 1941. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 22/12/1942) (Later backdated to 1941). (He was demobilized.) He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 22/12/1941). He was appointed as an A/Lieutenant-Commander RCN(R) (WHA). He served in HMCS Discovery. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN(R) (With seniority dated 22/12/1949). He served in HMCS Discovery as Commanding Officer UNTD 1947-52. (He was released.) (He was qualified with a Watchkeeping Certificate.) (He was qualified for gunnery duties.)
