After his naval service he worked in construction business.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as an Electrical Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 21/08/1940) (Later backdated to 1939). He was appointed as an A/Electrical Lieutenant-Commander (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 01/01/1943). In 1944 he served with the royal Navy. (He was demobilized.)
