He married Mary Frances Miller and was the father of Mabel Ellen Springer and Eva Springer. He was the Manager of Moody's Sawmill in New Westminster BC. In 1879 he was the Secretary of the New Westminster Pilotage Authority. In 1883 he was appointed as a Marine Pilot in the Vancouver Pilotage District. In 1887 he was the Deputy Consul for Sweden and Norway at Moodyville BC. |
