Military Service
He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 18/03/1943) (Later backdated to 1942). He served in HMC LCI (L) 271 (In command) 260th Landing Craft Infantry (Large) Flotilla for Operation Neptune 1944. (He was demobilized.)
