After his naval service in 1974 Trevor became the Administrator at James Bay Lodge in Victoria. |

He was appointed as a Boy Seaman RCN (With seniority dated 15/07/1940). In 1940 he served in HMCS Naden for training. He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman RCN. He served in HMCS Prince Henry. He was appointed as a Petty Officer (First Class) RCN. (He was commended by the Commander-in-Chief Devonport for his conduct when H.M.C.S. Teme was damaged in 1945.) (CFR, Qualifying Course UK). He was appointed as an A/Commissioned Gunner RCN. He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 31/03/1952). He served in H.M.S. Excellent for RN Long Gunnery Course 1955. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN. He served as AdC(P) 1962-1965) He served in HMCS Ottawa (III) (In command) 1963. He served in HMCS Sussexvale (In command) 1964. He was appointed as a Commander RCN (With seniority dated 01/01/1965). He served in HMCS Bonaventure as Executive Officer 1966. He served in HMCS Columbia (II) (In command) and Commander 4th Canadian Training Squadron 1968. In 1971 he was selected to be the Department of Defence Co-ordinator for the Royal Visit to British Columbia. (He was released 17/03/1972.) |
