Biography
After his naval service he joined Spartan Airways . NAE for Icing Trials 1958. He joined Autair 1959-61. Northern Wings 1965. Atlantic Helicopters 1968. Pegasus Airlifts 1969.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a AC 2/c RCAF 1942. He served in RCAF Belleville for #6 ITS. He served in RCAF Rivers for #11 Elementary Flying Training School. He served in RCAF Hagersville for Service Flying Training School 1942. He served in RCAF Moncton for #8 Service Flying Training School. (He was released 23/12/1944). (Transferred to the RNVR 1944), RAF Ternhill 1945. He served in RNAS Arbroath for 883 RN Squadron 1945. (He was released 01/10/1945). (Short Service Appointment commencing 01/07/1947). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/06/1947). He served in RCAF Trenton for Flying Refresher Course 1947. He served in HMCS Stadacona for Officers Divisional Course 1947. He served in HMCS Stadacona for RCN Barracks Halifax for RCN Air Section (Dartmouth) for duty as pilot in No.1 Training Air Group 1948. He served in HMCS Magnificent for Carrier Qualifications 1950. He served in RCAF Centralia for Air traffic control and Approach Control Training 1950. He served in USNAS Pensacola for Helicopter Conversion 1951. He served in HMCS Shearwater for No.1 Helicopter Flight 1952. He served in HMCS Shearwater as Additional for Air Traffic Control Duties 1953. He served in HMCS Shearwater for VT-40 Squadron 1954. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (P) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/06/1955). (Selected for permanent commission). He served in HMCS Shearwater for VF-871 Squadron 1955. He served in HMCS Shearwater for VT-40 Squadron 1955. He served in HMCS Shearwater for VX-10 Squadron 1956. He served in HMCS Shearwater for HU-21 Squadron 1956, NAE Ottawa for VX-10 Detachment for Icing Trials 1957. (He resigned 01/07/1957.)

Civilian Aircraft Flown: Norseman, S-55, Bell 47, Bell 206, Hughes 500 (He survived a wheels up landing in a Sea fury 26/05/1949. He survived an engine failure and a wheels up landing in a Seafury near St. Eugene PQ. He survived a wheel in the catwalk landing on Magnificent 18/05/1950 and a bent undercart 06/06/1950.)
