Biography
In civillian life he was the Assistant Industrial Relations Manager (Woodlands) for Bowater Mersey Co. (Corner Brook NF).

 

Military Service

He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman RN. (CFR). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNVR 1942. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (Temp.) RNVR. He served in the Royal Navy Beach Commando Training. He participated in the Allied Landings at Sicily Salerno and Anzio. He served as Commanding Officer of RNFAA accomodation camp in UK, (Demobilized), (Transferred to RCNR 1949). He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN(R) 1949. He served as the First Commanding Officer of HMCS Caribou (Naval Reserve Division Corner Brook NF) 1953. (He was retired RCNR c1954.)
